At the Zoo!

Last week Maddie and I were bored at home so we went to The National Zoo. It was a beautiful day and Maddie enjoyed looking at the animals. She loved to watch the seals play and swim by her through the observation window in their pool. This picture was taken at the children's area where they have cows and goats and donkeys to pet. Maddie tried to pet a goat but since the goat was trying to eat the fabric off the stoller, I thought better of that. Maddie also had lots of fun playing in the giant foam pizza play area! After the zoo, we met up with Ben and some coworkers of his for Maddie's 1st NBA game at the Verizon Center!
