Madelyn's first Chrismas!

It's Madelyn's first Christmas and we've had a busy few days! Grandma and Grandpa Robertson were here to visit this past weekend. On Saturday we went to the National Cathedral. It is pretty spectacular anyway with all the stained glass windows but it was extra nice decorated for the holidays! After lunch we went to the US Botanical Gardens where they had a toy train exhibit.

Yesterday was Christmas Eve and we had a nice day in. We walked to breakfast/brunch and then just hung out at home. Ben baked some yummy cookies, we had a nice dinner and then opened presents. Maddie was way more interested in eating the tissue paper than any of her gifts but she had a good time!

Today we had a nice morning just the 3 of us! After presents we had a wicked good breakfast of Blueberry Stuffed French Toast. In a little while we're headed to the Bliss' home for Christmas dinner and hanging out with friends and their new baby! It has been a pretty perfect weekend and we've totally enjoyed watching Maddie enjoy her first Christmas!!!

It is Christmas eve and Gram & Gramp are here visiting. This is me opening my very first Christmas present ever! (It was a book about animals from Aunt Jana and Uncle Nate).

At the urging (and urging and urging and urging) of a certain friend of ours (see legendofme.blogspot.com) we have decided to create our very own blog- mostly to be able to share photos of our youngest member- Ms M. We hope this will become a useful spot for our family to visit so to see the cutest baby ever born!
