Maddie's Birthday Weekend

Maddie has had a very busy weekend! On Friday night Grandma and Grandpa Robertson came into town and we had a yummy dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, San Vito. Saturday was Maddie's birthday party. We had her party at Clemyjontri Park in McLean, VA. It is a HUGE playground with lots of fun things to do! Maddie's friends Sebastian and Nicholas joined in on the fun as well as family. On Saturday night we had a BBQ at our house and we got to see Maddie's friend Jack and his new baby brother Ryan! Sunday morning Maddie tried on flower girl dresses for Aunt Kristen and Uncle Scott's wedding before going into DC with Nonnie and Papa for the afternoon. Yesterday was Maddie's actual birthday and Daddy took the day off... what a treat! We took her to an indoor play area in Maryland where they had an actual firetruck and ambulance (Maddie's favorite) and a "beach" sand area! Maddie had a great time! For lunch we went to On the Boarder where Maddie enjoyed chips and salsa, tacos, and a very special birthday brownie sundae (which she ate almost all of)! We are so glad that our friends and family were able to join us to celebrate Maddie's 2nd birthday... here are some of the pictures from our weekend! Maddie: 30 lbs, 33 inches
